Mission
শিক্ষানীতি ২০১০ বাস্তবায়নে লক্ষ্যে গুণগত শিক্ষা নিশ্চিত করা, শিক্ষার হার বৃদ্ধি করা এবং দক্ষ মানব সম্পদ গড়ে তুলে বিশ্বায়নের চ্যালেঞ্জ মোকাবিলায় শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রস্তুত করা।

History:
Manikgonj Government Women's College was established in 1972 with a pledge to impart quality education ensuring woment empowerment. In 1986 the college has been Nationalized. There are 3 campuses including a large, modern and attractive college building, Science Building and 4 college Hostels. There are also ICT & science laboratories equipped with modern apparatus, special lounges, seminar hall, library etc. In 2014, the college has opened the door of higher education offering B.A. honours and H0onors course in English, Bangla under National University. The aim of this institution is to make the students competent for future life as well as to make them enlightened citizens. Besides academic skill, we emphasize on co-curricular activities to flourish the latent talents of the students. The college has earned outstanding reputation in the field of sports i. e. football, cricket, athletics etc. cultural activities, debate, Science & English olympiads both in national and international level. The continuous rise in the number of quality students and their glorious result in both the HSC and Honours level bear the testimony that we are successfully heading towards our goal to make an enlightened nation. Today, Manikgonj Government Women's College has made its name as one of the reputed and standard educational institutions in the country.
